Technical Quality Project Manager required for very successful manufacturing business based in East Sussex. You must have a good understanding of Quality Management systems, specifically AS9100, in addition to proven experience of dealing with large corporate organisations. Ultimately leading a small QA team, you will be responsible for all quality accountability within the business.

Main responsibilities:

• Be the Quality face of the company with ultimate responsibility for QA in the business
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Be responsible for risk and accountability legislation and preventative policies
• Advise directors on any proposed legislation which would affect the business and the way it operates
• Interact with the customers to interpret their technical needs and quality standards
• Manage the pre-production review team
• To lead the process engineer(s) and quality management teams

Mandatory skills required:

• Exposure to corporate world with experience of negotiating at senior level
• Proven AS9100 experience
• Articulate, professional, customer friendly with good people skills
