Position: Food Quality Assurance Technician
Location: Wrexham
Hours: working 40 hours Monday to Friday on a two-week rolling rota, either 5:30am to 1:30pm or 2pm to 10pm, Occasional weekend work may be required to meet the needs of the business.
Salary: up to £22,089 p/a

Role Purpose:
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance by ensuring that products manufactured and supplied by our company are safe, legal and exceed customer expectations.
Duties:
Your duties will include, although will not be limited to: * Managing and assisting with the development of an effective quality assurance system in line with quality specifications and safety protocols * Investigating and ensuring corrective actions when specifications are outside of the agreed parameters * Supporting and training operatives to maintain the highest quality standards * Supervising safe and hygienic procedures including environmental swabbing, reporting any incidences or concerns to Senior Management and accurately maintaining records and files * Monitoring the Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) audit programme, completing daily audits of production paperwork * Collecting sample products from daily production, and organising the storage of retention samples
Requirements
* Level 2 HACCP Certificate or equivalent * Full UK driving licence * IT savvy, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
As Quality Assurance Technician based at factory in Wrexham, you'll receive: * Pay rate of £10.62 per hour, equivalent to £22,089 per annum * Performance related bonus scheme * Contributory pension scheme * Free on-site parking
