Main Purpose and Scope of Job
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant workplace and follows company HS&E policies.
Within production the Quality Inspector is responsible for measuring parts to the highest of standards and relaying this information to the skilled engineers in a constructive way to
ensure the highest possible standard of output, completion of inspection documentation, assisting with non-conformances, ISIRs, FAIRs, final inspection, and sub-contracted operation quality.
Duties include:
Mitigation of quality issues to customers. 1st off inspection and routine inspections (ISIR) in timely manner to assist production requirements and schedule of production. Provide quality function input to planning new jobs (ISIR - FAIRs) Provide quality function support to production. Proactively respond to internal and external quality related issues (non-conformance investigations) with any measuring/inspection requirements. |

Improve shop floor workplace design and organisation.

Continuously improve any inspection related processes and metrology awareness.
Knowledge and Experience Required
Aberlink CMM training and experience,
Extensive metrology understanding, and equipment use.
SolidWorks inspection use
Good engineering skills and understanding of CNC Turning and Milling principles to enable thorough feedback to engineers.
Proactive-Team player, influence others, lean manufacturing knowledge, problem solving, communication skills, research, motivating others, planning, professionalism, customer quality expectations, product appreciation, decision making.
