POSITION: Senior Quality Engineer LOCATION: Ellesmere Port HOURS: Monday to Friday SALARY: £35,000-£38,000p/a REF: VR/00573 HR GO have a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join a tier 1 Automotive supplier in Ellesmere Port. The purpose of the role is manage the quality and Process Improvement team and provide support and direction to the wider operation. Role: Quality Operating System development and deployment IATF accredited External Audit Trained Internal and External Audit conformance Driving the Zero faults forward strategy for the operation To identify opportunities for implementing improvements to working processes and be responsible for implementation. Working with the process team to identify and utilise new quality systems and techniques Undertake liaison with customer with regards to engineering changes. Develop the company quality strategy Understand and be able to apply all relevant ISO and IATF standards Person: Qualified to HNC level or equivalent in a relevant discipline You will have experience of quality operations in a tier 1 automotive environment and ideally have led and managed a quality team within an OEM You will have proven experience in IATF auditing and PSW, PPAP and APQP Experience in operating and auditing integrated maintenance systems would be an advantage The ability to develop relationships with people at any level and to use your own initiative along side strong leadership qualities would make you an ideal candidate for this role.
