Quality Administrator required to help with the Quality Department of a successful manufacturing business.
Reporting to the Quality Manager you will be responsible for all the administration duties associated with a busy Quality Department. Previous experience working within a Quality department, especially in a Production Engineering environment is preferred, but not essential. The ideal candidate will have good IT skills, be highly organised and have a very good attention to detail.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Carry out Quality Administration duties
Monitor maintenance charts on a weekly basis
Monitor and calibrate soldering equipment on a quarterly basis
Carry out bench and rack matting calibration at quarterly intervals
Complete first article inspection reports
Complete device rejects/returns and raise customer rejects
Assist other departments when required, including monitoring and assisting with engineering emails
Have an understanding of the company MRP system and production folders
Order new or replacement parts as required for engineering department, including assembly jigs and bespoke tooling
Comply with ISO and H&S safety rules
Our clients operate flexible working hours from 7am - 6pm, Mon-Fri with core hours starting from 8.30am.
