Our client is looking for a QA Co-ordinator to work as part of the QSE Department. This role supports a broad range of activities, as an essential support function, to ensure that the Quality Department delivers and efficient and professional service to the organisation. You should have experience in a Quality Assurance role or similar, with experience of supervising or managing a team of staff. An understanding of Quality and Product Safety is essential, alongside a good understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality:

  • First point of contact for all general queries including facilitation of customer enquiries and complaints from the Customer Service Team.

  • Oversight and coordination of all day-to-day administrative processes such as collation and maintenance of Production and QA documentation.

  • Undertake Quality administration as required, such as statistics, reports and trends, highlighting anomalies and assisting the department in communicating Quality issues.

  • Preparation and development of Specifications and Database using calibrated measuring tools and equipment, ensuring a high degree of accuracy.

  • Preparation, maintenance and issue of Manufacturing Product Specifications and Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Control and inspection of goods returned, arranging the sorting or scrap or stock disposal as appropriate, either autonomously or in supervision of agency workers.

  • Maintenance of conformity records of QA held stock and monitoring Quarantine report, isolating or integrating stock as appropriate.

  • Maintenance of samples and recording of customer approved samples.

  • Issuing Certificates of Conformity and Product Concession sheets.

  • Conducting QA inspections of company products using a variety of inspection equipment.

  • Supporting with internal audits as required, making recommendations where relevant, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Maintenance of the glass register and risk assessments, including regular glass audits.

  • Conducting Induction, Refresher, Hygiene and Product Safety training.

  • Assist in the implementation of Company Quality and Product Safety Management

You must have a formal qualification in Quality Management (IQA, Level 3 in Quality Management or above), or equivalent experience. Any forklift would licenses / would be beneficial.
