Purchasing Managers Opportunity for successful Aviation company. You will be responsible for the effective day-to-day running of the purchasing department, including management of suppliers to ensure that materials are delivered on time within budgetary requirements. The responsibilities of the Purchasing Manager include, but aren't limited to: * Ensure all aircraft parts and materials for operational procedures are purchased and delivered. * Implementing supply chain plans to help the company achieve long term business goals. * Overviewing and assessing supplier performance. * Liaising with other departments when necessary regarding materials. * Maintaining inventory levels. * Resolving and restricting supply chain errors. * Introducing new suppliers including volume rebates and discount structures. * Ensuring measures are in place so company targets are met (scrap, spend, usage,etc.) * Monitoring MSS data reports. * Providing out-of-hours AOG support when required. * Other duties / purchasing responsibilities when required. For this role you will need experience within a similar purchasing environment within aviation. Furthermore, you will be proficient in implementing improvement processes and KPIs, with experience in negotiation and supplier relationship management. Full job specification on application.
