Purchasing Coordinator

Location - Harlow

Salary - £23k doe.

We are currently assisting our client based in Harlow, in the recruitment of a Purchasing Coordinator to join their team.

Working within the Manufacturing industry, the Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Planning and Purchasing Manager to ensure components are purchased in a timely fashion.

The successful candidate will have experience within a purchasing or planning role, within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Planning and Purchasing Manager to secure supplies of materials to meet company schedules.

• Regularly liaise with the Planning Coordinator regarding the manufacturing schedule.

• Correspond with suppliers, chasing quotations and placing orders where needed.

• Place Purchase Orders as required by the Manufacturing Schedule.

• Liaise with the Manager and Planning Coordinator of major time constraints.

You will have:

• Purchasing/Planning experience in a similar role is essential.

• Working knowledge of MS Office.

• Knowledge of using ERP/MRP systems.

• Excellent communication skills at all levels.

• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.

• An excellent attention to detail.
