Excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking Worldwide organisation. Due to promotion within the department, we now are recruiting for a candidate who has previously worked within a purchasing environment. This role will be to provide support to the Purchasing Manager and Buyers within the department. You will have gained experience of working with an open order book, ensuring that you achieve a fill rate of 98% Other duties will be to monitor and progress potential stock outages, ensuring proactive action is taken to ensure the supply chain is maintained and customer orders are fulfilled. You will assist with express freight quotations, ensuring that all purchase orders are booked in using the correct mode of transport. You will review freight invoices and deal with any discrepancies, approving in line with rates agreed. This role is ideally suited to a candidate who has worked within a similar environment for a minimum of 2 + years. You will be highly organised, process driven and capable of managing multiple projects at any one time. Candidates must have a good understanding of customs processes and inbound freight terms and be experience in the expediting of products.
