Job Description

Purchasing Administrator

Purchasing Administrator required to help with the Purchasing Department of a busy manufacturing business.
In this role you will be responsible for all the purchasing administration duties within this dept. Previous experience working in as purchasing role and experience of MRP would be advantageous, but not essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent administration experience, good IT skills, be well organised with a good attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Answer and direct incoming communication
Raise and send purchase orders
Expedite purchase orders
MRP Purchasing
Raise and issue works orders to the shop floor via MRP
Check minimum stock levels via MRP
Provide kit status reports to the Production Manager
Control of stationary stock and requests
Liaise with other departments as required
Comply with ISO and H&S safety rules
