Purchase Ledger Assistant

This position is available for an immediate start. The role is for a 12 month maternity cover position.

Duties will include:-

  • To carry out bank reconciliations and process cheque payments
  • To set up suppliers on the appropriate system
  • To prepare all sales invoices being processed by the UK office
  • To produce and analyse creditor reports, supplier statement reconciliations and ensuring payment of supplier invoices.
  • Agreeing payment terms with suppliers
  • To carry out payment runs and set up payments as necessary
  • To assist with month end procedures and the preparation of management accounts

Candidates suited to this role will possess 1 - 2 years worth of experience within a similar role and will be computer literate, having a basic understanding of Excel.
