PT Doctors Surgey receptionist

Medical Receptionist-

Temp - Perm for the right candidate

Based in Yeovil

The position is for 20hrs per week, Thursday and Friday 08:00-18:30 (30 minute lunch)

Rate of pay £8.72 per hour. This would be on a Temp to perm contract.

Roles will involve dealing with patient on the phone, queries solving, liaising between patient and clinical staff member, booking of appointments. Previous experience would be great.

Ideally you will have experience in a doctors, dental or hospital environment as an admin / receptionist

Software used Emis and Ask my GP so experience with that would be great.

Job brief

We are looking for a Receptionist to manage our front desk daily and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for the company. The Receptionist's duties include offering Customer service and booking appointments. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.

To be successful for this role, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with tasks in a timely and effective manner. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. Ultimately, a Receptionist's duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

* Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office

* Book appointments

* Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls

* Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)

* Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email

* Update calendars and schedule meeting if needed

* Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying and other adhoc duties.

Requirements:

* Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role

* Hands-on experience with office equipment

* Professional attitude and appearance

* Solid written and verbal communication skills

* Excellent organisational skills

* Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks

* Customer service attitude
