Property Manager

Our client who are based in Central Canterbury, Kent is currently recruiting for a permanent Property Manager, who is passionate about customer service and has a flare for property to join their Award-Winning Property Management department. The ideal candidate will have at least one year Property Management experience. Our client pride themselves on three core values: To be passionate, be memorable and be excellent.

The role will be managing the day to day running of a portfolio containing a variety 100-200 properties, ranging from fully managed to let only, from student housing to large family homes.

Competitive salary - DOE.

Key duties include:

  • Daily liaison with Tenants, Landlords and Contractors; dealing with questions, complaints, and updates.
  • Invoice Authorisation and payment.
  • Carrying out property inspections and writing reports of outcomes, letters to Landlords and Tenants and organizing any works that arise from these inspections.
  • Updating of specified areas of the property management database.
  • Ensuring Tenant, Landlord and Contractor compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.
  • Producing Tenancy Agreements and renewal Tenancy Agreements.
  • Writing Letters and Reports, serving relevant notices.
  • Organising Gas Safety, Electrical, Fire Alarm, Portable Appliance and Energy Performance Certificates.
  • Organising quotes for repair/maintenance on behalf of the Landlord and overseeing the works.
  • Arranging Inventory and Check out Reports.
  • Ensuring the compliance of holding Tenants Deposits.
  • Serving the correct paperwork when required at every eventuality throughout the Tenancy from the initial application to the deposit return at the end of the Tenancy.

Any other duties as reasonably required from to time.
