Our client, due to continued growth is currently seeking a Project Planner. Excellent opportunity for the right candidate offering a salary of up to £24,000PA dependant upon experience on a permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement Project Monitoring and Reporting System for project manager
Prepare project plans including schedule and resource requirements
Research and collate progress data and maintain project plan and prepare schedule, progress, and resource
Inform Project Manager of issues arising from changes to project schedules and deliverables
Identify capacity constraints in the business from the project plan interfaces and alert the Head of Projects
Prepare project reports including narrative elements for both internal and client use
UK Corporate Quality/Health and Safety/Environmental Policies assistance with the continued development will be required as requested by team manager
Adhere to and support management in the improvement of companies UK Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) systems and policies
Work within the companies UK Quality Management System (QMS) and demonstrate a commitment to its improvement & effectiveness
Promote and share companies UK vision, objectives and values
The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level or equivalent with previous experience as a planner/cost engineer. Must be a competent user of Microsoft Excel and industry standard planning software e.g.: Microsoft Project. Ideally you will also have previous experience with engineering projects within the Oil/Gas or Petrochemical industries and an HNC/HND or equivalent in business, management or engineering related study however, not essential.
