A renown Private Practice in Newcastle are looking to hire a Project Manager/ Senior Building Surveyor. This position will see you become part of an experienced and large team, where you will have the opportunity to get involved in several high profile projects ranging from public to private sector clients. so they are looking for someone who is a business generator and can drive the performance and grow their client portfolio. As the Project Manager you will have the skills to provide cost advice and take a leading role in the delivery of a high-profile portfolio of predominately Category A refurbishments and fast track Category B fit outs from inception through to completion including; * General involvement in the initial pitch delivery. * The ability to set up multi-disciplinary teams and the development of client briefs including project programmes. * Day to day project management of the design, procurement & and construction process. * Compliance with our internal ISO 9001 procedures * Risk management. * Day to day 'Contract Administration'. The role will be client facing so you will have the opportunity to deal with client representatives at a senior / board level. The role pushes creativity allowing you to adopt a 'hands on' approach to showcase your project management and presentational skills. Due to the senior level of the position we require this individual to grow existing clients accounts and to create business opportunities from new clients, both internal and external.
