HRGO Recruitment is delighted to be supporting one of our automotive clients in Washington, who are looking for a Production Planner to join their growing operations on a permanent basis.

With a salary of up to £30,000 per annum, permanent day shift and great location to local amenities.

The main responsibility of this role is to plan production for both facilities to ensure that all customer demand is achieved.

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Production Planning for Factory 1 and 2 each week

• Maintaining monthly planning requirements.

• Maintaining planning for service parts.

• Coordinating and supporting cycle counting.

• Planning introduction of new products and design changes.

• Monitoring of achievement against planned schedules.

• Evaluating machine capacity to meet production plans.

• Performance measurement.

• Participating in cost reduction activities, as well as packaging and material handling issues.

• Participating in the development of ERP system shop floor data collection.

• Capacity planning.

• Being involved in continuous improvement activities to ensure continued accreditation to IATF16949.

To be considered for the position, candidates must have a minimum of Maths & English GCSE and experience working within an automotive/manufacturing environment / working to accreditation ISO/TS16949
