Position: Production Planner
Location: Corwen
Hours: Monday - Friday days
Salary: £24,000-£28,000 p.a.

Key responsibilities/duties
- To manage the master production plan for both Formulation Blending and Liquid/powder filling activities.
- Continually review production plan to maintain line/tank capacity to ensure plans are achievable within known constraints.
- Develop a run strategy to optimise efficiencies of production v's customer requirements.
- Maintain finished good stock levels in line with agreed customer models.
- Regularly review the Demand Plan and Supply Plan with Supply Chain Manager.
- Attend customer S&OP meetings.
- Management of slow-moving stock levels to minimise waste.
- Carry out NCR investigations and complete corrective actions related to planning errors.
- Master data management (BoM/Timing/Costings).
- NPD - Work closely with key stakeholders during product set-up/review/sign-off.
- NPD - Work closely with Business Development Manager to provide costings for finished goods. Review routing, define direct costs, overheads, and margins.
- Chair daily internal production planning meeting.
- Become an active member of the Site's Continuous Improvement Committee, identify investment opportunities, capacity pinch-points and under-utilisation opportunities.
The successful candidate will require the following:
- Previous experience within a consumer goods manufacturing industry with the responsibility for planning/scheduling.
- Strong working knowledge of use of MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Further qualifications within supply-chain e.g. CPIM
- Pro-active and analytical with the ability to understand trade-offs when providing solutions to problems.
- Experience of working cross-functionally and with multidisciplinary teams.
