Food manufacturing Operative

Up to £9.10 per hour depending on experience

Martock

Our client is an artisan producer of preserves based in Martock. They are looking for a flexible, multi skilled individual to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. You will be joining a small team of 4 so you will need to be a team player and have a can-do attitude to get the job done!

They are ideally looking for someone with food manufacturing, food service or catering experience but more importantly looking for someone that will integrate with the team.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Prepare for the days production by ensuring all machinery etc is turned on and in good order

• Weigh out ingredients for the recipes, complete the appropriate paperwork and pass to the production chef to cook the products.

• Fill and pack the products

• Keep working areas clean and safe

• Help around the factory in whatever department needs that support

• Be flexible in attitude

The factory works a Monday-Thursday working week starting at 7am and finishing at 5:20pm - however you will need to be flexible.
