We are looking for 3-4 PRODUCTION OPERATIVE to work for sports supplements and nutrition manufacturer 5 days a week:

Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm with unpaid 30 minute lunch break.

Starting salary £17000 per year.

General duties: to assist the production department in all aspects of the day to day manufacturing duties and responsibilities.

General activities:

-working in a fast-paced Pharmaceutical production facility

-operating of various machinery to required targets in order to produce pharmaceutical grade finished product

-helping the production facility to achieve the set KPI's

-assemble, disassemble and re tooling of machines

-weighing and measuring of powders and raw materials to required specifications and combining of materials to be processed in production

-loading of materials into machinery and unloaded and collating of finished products

-report any problems or issues with machinery to management

-operating in an efficient way to both minimize waste and production costs

-completion of paperwork to GMP and BRC standards

-competition of periodical checks on finished products during the production process

-cleaning of machinery through dry and wet cleaning whilst using chemicals

-helping to maintain a clean as you go policy

Due to working with chemicals you must have good understanding of both spoken and written English due to working with chemicals, concentrated raw materials and machinery.

You must be physically fit due to lifting of materials up to 25kg as well as spending long periods of time standing and operating machinery.

Manufacturing experience (in either food or pharmaceutical) would be advantageous.
