Job Role: Post-16 Learning Support Assistant
Location - Sevenoaks, Kent
HRGO Education are in search of a Learning Support assistant to work in a dynamic Post-16 department, supporting KS5 pupils with SEMH (nurturing behaviour needs) on their journey to college and further education. This role is from September 2021.
HRGO Education are recruiting for a progressive school based in Sevenoaks, Kent. They are seeking a KS5 learning support assistant with a passion for supporting young people with SEMH and a desire to help these pupils progress into further education.
We require a Specialist Learning Support Assistant to work within the Post-16 department of the school and at a local college. This is a very rewarding role with lots of variety in the working day. The role will involve 1:1, small group and in-class support. In conjunction with Teachers, you will be responsible for using a range of techniques and approaches to meet the needs of learners as outlined in their EHCPs. As well as supporting students academically, the role includes preparing them socially for further education and working life.
The Sevenoaks school was rated "Good" by Ofsted and are well resourced to support the additional needs of their young people. The school provides a free lunch for all staff and parking on site. You can easily commute to the school from the local areas of Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Edenbridge and Westerham.
