Planning Team Coordinator

My client operates across the United Kingdom delivering market leading solutions for a portfolio of highly recognisable clients. Overview of Role To support the Planning Team Manager in coordinating the team activities to ensure the design and production of plans accurately reflect the requirements of the client and are produced in line with contractual commitments delivering against key service level agreements (SLAs). Ensure works contained within the plans are accurately priced to realise projected margin. Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure plans are understood in advance of works taking place and deviation from plan managed effectively within the deviation process protecting delivery of margin contained within the plans. Support the Planning Team Manager in managing the day to day activities of the team ensuring work is prioritised and evenly allocated amongst the team. Take the time to routinely give feedback that recognises good performance and constructively intervenes on poor performance. * Co-ordinate the workload of the team to ensure the delivery of low level designs back to the client within agreed SLAs * Provide information required in support of activity highlighting outstanding work by region/client to the Planning Team Manager * Maintain price quotation and amendment process with client providing data for management information in relation to amendments that have been agreed * Support the Planning Team Manager in the application of the performance management process ensuring team members are clear as to what is expected of them within the role and are adequately supported with training and development * Ensure the key elements of the client contract relating to the planning process is understood by you and the team and operational controls are implemented to ensure we successfully meet these requirements * Work collaboratively with the client representing the values of JHG fostering a partnership approach in identifying improvements to the planning process to drive efficiencies for mutual gain * Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure planning details are conveyed effectively and understood before works commence and deviation to plans are tracked to protect the margin built into the plan * Work closely with the Applications Team Coordinator to ensure detail of plans are accurate and support the timely processing of applications for payment * Support the Planning Team Manager in the collation of information as required for processing of team member wages, overtime, holiday, sickness and medical information by required deadlines * Ensure your work and that of your team is undertaken safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures Hours- Mon-Friday 40 hrs Salary- up to 25k depending on experience To apply for this position please send your CV to sofia.mckenzie@hrgo.co.uk or call our Northampton branch 01604621333 HR GO Recruitment are an equal rights employer!
