HRGO are excited to be recruiting for Pharmacy Support Workers for SECAMB.

This position is temporary starting as soon as possible.

Hours:

5 days out of 7, 1000 - 1800

You will need to be flexible for this role.

Based in the Medicines Team at the Medicine Distribution Centre, providing essential support to front line ambulance operations.

Overall Duties:

• Assist the Pharmacy Health care Professional, Clinical Pharmacist or Chief Pharmacist where necessary to implement changes to improve processes and maximise resources.
• Ensure all Medicines being packed are in date and not subject to a recall
• Preparation of the Trusts Medicines packs according to the required standard load list, using the trusts electronic systems for managing such processes in line with medicines packing process.
• Participate in Quality Assurance of the packing processes and monitor the quality of services provided.
• Maintain a near miss log and support in incident investigation in relation to packing processes should the need arise.

Successful candidates:

• Be able to work under pressure
• Have a high Degree of accuracy and concentration
• Be able to prioritise their workload and meet deadlines
• Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package
• Update Electronic and Paper Records

A DBS and 3 years worth of referencing will need to be actioned for this role.
