Experienced Dispatchers wanted!

We are looking for multiple people to join the team. You would be primarily responsible for on the day control of pre-planned non-emergency ambulances, helping to meet the KPI's of providing timely responses. Also managing and initiating effective and efficient deployments and re-deployments of non-emergency ambulance resources including Patient Transport Service (PTS) Ambulances, volunteer car drivers and Private Ambulances, in response to pre booked hospital appointments and discharges from places of care. Answering any incoming calls from stakeholders including patients, hospitals, clinics, contact centre and any other relevant Health Care Professionals will be required.

Essentials:

• RSA level 3 (or equivalent)
• NVQ customer services or equivalent
• First aid qualified
• Able to use Microsoft office and Microsoft windows packages
• Effective verbal and communication skills, excellent listening skills
• Able to undertake numerous tasks
• Prioritise and undertake numerous tasks simultaneously
• Calm under pressure
• Previous experience using a dispatch system
• Experience within a call centre environment

Hours: 37.5 per week on various days/times (late shifts will be paid accordingly)

Contract: Temp to Perm
