HR GO are currently recruiting for a Pallet Maker to permanently join their client near Staplehurst.

You will be working 5 days out of 7 so you must be flexible.

You will be required to:

• Keep the machines supplied with packaging materials such as trays, punnets, bags etc.
• Pack into customer crates as per Customer Requirements
• Report any machine faults or discrepancies.
• Start and stop the production line as required.
• Move packed and raw products around the warehouse and production area - using pallet trolleys if trained to do so.
• Build customer pallets of finished products as per the Line Leaders instruction. Using pallet strapping and building materials, if trained to do so.
• Label products according to customer specifications and/or Line Leader and QC instructions.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following site standards, policies and procedures.
• Work in a fast, efficient and controlled manner.
• Ensure smooth running of the production line.
• Work as part of a team to ensure products are dispatched on time.
• Make sure Health & Safety is adhered to at all times.
• Inform the Management Team of any incidents, concerns, complaints or suggestions.
• Ensure the information on the end label matches the bag labels.
• Make sure Line Operatives build the right number of pallets, crates and boxes for the current production.
• Once a pallet is ready make sure all boxes/crates have end labels and pallet ID.
• Regularly check in with the Line Leader to ensure smooth production.
• Provide the line with the required packaging before the production starts.
• Ensure the packing area is kept clean and tidy at all times and return all unused packaging to storage at the end of each shift.
