Job Title - Painter Decorator

Working hours - 8:00am-16:15pm

Salary - £9.09p/h

Location - Dorset

Key Responsibilities -

• Undertake unsupervised assessment of, preparation for and delivery of all painting and decoration

• Use of protections and protective coatings

• Carrying out inspections and assessment of internal and external areas

Previous experience -

• TWO years post qualification experience.

• Experience within large and complex facilities or estates.

• Experience of working within the healthcare profession, construction or hotel industry.

• Experience of using IT systems including Microsoft Office packages and FM software.

• Experience of influencing and negotiating in order to access and carry out works.

Previous qualifications/training -

• City & Guilds or NVQ 3 in related craft subjects OR equivalent discipline and level OR knowledge and experience to undertake relevant range of work procedures.

• Knowledge of procedures for a wide range of painting and decoration to high quality including preparation, filling, preparing, painting etc., of various internal and external surfaces.

• Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.

• Good general education with a good command of the English language, including oral and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of general good practices in a healthcare environment.
