Packing Operative

Location: Harlow (Edinburgh Way)

Hours of work: Varied hours, no set pattern. (6:30am-8am start and anytime from 1pm-4pm finish)

Rate of pay: £9.00-£10.50 doe (Forklift Licence)

Start Date: Immediately

Your duties will include:

• Packing beer into kegs/bottles

• Label sticking

• Packing for deliveries

• Stock control in the Warehouse

• Lifting heavy products

• Maintaining the production line effectively

• Strict compliance to health and safety

We are looking for someone who:

• Can start immediately

• Team player - work as a very small team of 7 in the day-to-day production environment so the ability to work as a team and help where required is essential

• Flexibility - Every day is different, so some days are longer than others, it's not a typical 9-5. Usually start time is between 6.30am-8am
• Forklift licence preferable but not essential, training can be given

• Full UK Driving Licence essential due to location and shift times

• Good level of physical fitness - the role requires lifting 13kg cases of beer regularly and kegs of beer up to 62kg on occasion

The role reports into our Packaging Supervisor and there is room for advancement to become the assistant supervisor and lead the team in the absence of the main supervisor, so someone looking for a bit more responsibility is greatly welcomed!
