We are working in partnership with a Engineering company based near Dinnington who are looking for a nut and bolt production operative to join their team.

Location: Dinnington Sheffeild

Working Hours:

Working on a 2 week rotation basis - on a shift pattern designed to give a good work life balance.
2 weeks 6 am till 2 pm Mon to Thursday with early finish 1 PM Friday
followed by
2 weeks of afternoons 1pm till 9.30 PM Mon to Thursday (Fridays off)

Hourly Rate: £9.73 p/h which improves with competence

Job Description Summary (FULL TRAINING IS GIVEN)

This is a physical job, working a mixture of shifts in our nut production department. The job includes operating multiple 6 spindle Wickman manual lathes to produce various size nuts ranging from 14mm to 25mm diameter, referring to technical drawings, loading and unloading, self-inspection of parts using gauges and other measuring tools.

The job also covers - basic maintenance of the machine, from clearing the machine of debris and ensuring the machine is fit to use. Use of screw driver and other basic tools. Manual carrying and use of manual push trolley. Carrying out other manual jobs within the factory. Working effectively as part of a team, keeping the work area very clean and tidy and following the organisational procedures within the company is an essential part of this role.

Mornings Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 14:00

Friday 06:00 - 13:00
