Non Emergency Call Handlers - Possibility of permanent contract after 12 weeks employment.

This position is based in Norwich and is an extremely rewarding position. Please see the below breakdown of pay rates.

Weekdays from 06:00 - 20:00 - £9.49 per hour

Saturdays and night shifts from 20:00 - 06:00 - £13.38 per hour

Sundays and Bank Holidays - £17.37 per hour

Due to the nature of your role you are required to be able to work on a rota basis that will vary from day shifts one week to night shifts the following.

If you are a calm, kind and compassionate person with excellent communication, listening and computer skills, this could be the job for you. The ability to build positive working relationships and perform well under pressure are qualities that will help you to succeed in this role. The role will require you to provide clear and concise information to the public and health care professionals over the phone on a variety of different scenarios.

Requirements for this position are:

GCSE grade D or above in English and Maths

Being computer literate

Good geographical knowledge of Norfolk and Suffolk

At least 6 months in a role dealing with the public face to face or over the phone

Ability to listen and record details accurately.
