Non Emergency Call Handlers - Norwich
TEMPORARY NON EMERGENCY CALL HANDLER, Norwich
Hourly Pay Rate:
Weekdays 06.00 to 20.00 £9.50
Nights 20.00 to 06.00 and Saturdays £13.40
Sundays and Bank Holidays £17.39
Do you want to be part of a team of Call Handlers providing non-emergency call handling service including Patient Transport Eligibility Screening, Telephone Answering Doctors Line , message handling for Community Nursing and Midwifery Services.
Hours will be on a rotational basis between 8am and 11pm (8 hour shifts - 5 days a week - 37.5 hours per week - including some weekend work). Please note - you will be required some hours on Christmas Day
Qualifications
- English and Maths GCSE grade D or above.
- RSA Stage 1 Typing or ECDL
Experience Required
- Previous call centre environment
- Excellent listening skills
- At least 6 months in a role dealing with the general public, face to face or on the telephone.
- Good geographical knowledge of Norfolk & Suffolk
- Ability to concentrate on repetitive tasks and provide excellent attention to detail
