Hrgo are seeking an experienced Nights Customs Clearance Clerk for our Client in the Dover area. Good analytical and excellent organisational skills are essential, and you must work in a methodical manner and be able to respond effectively to enquiries. Responsible for customs management of cross channel, as well as through all airports via scheduled air freight and air-chartered goods movements.

Duties include:

• Calculating Duty / VAT cost for each consignment

• Processing Import/Export declarations

• Dealing with general enquiries from importers / exporters concerning all areas, relating to Customs Procedures, Tariff Classifications, Duty Rates and any other documentation requirements

• Keeping up to date with changes in regulations, laws and customs procedures
