Night Shift Mill Operator required!

£9.50 Per Hour + Night Shift Allowance of £365 a month

We are currently looking for a night shift Mill Operator for one of our clients based just outside of Chard.

This is a permanent role

Start at 17:00 finish at 6:00 in the morning. On average 4 shifts a week in a four or five week period depending on at periods. Average 48 hour week

The Role

• The Role will be working in the Mill producing animal feed into bulk and tote bags.

• You will be expected to operate all machinery to achieve optimal output and quality.

• Communicate with management regarding defects of equipment

• Loading lorries as necessary

• Intake of raw materials

• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and hygiene

• Provide cover for other team members when requested

• Abide by health and safety rules

• Perform any other tasks as required from time to time by the Mill Manager.

The Candidate

• Excellent communication skills

• attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload

• Forklift qualification desirable but not essential

• Must be physically fit as this is a manually demanding role!
