Overview of the job:
To support the company strategy by managing all new business enquiries in a prompt, efficient and compliant manner whilst maximising profitability. To enhance customer focus, building trust and rapport whilst using expert knowledge, skills and resources available to provide competitive terms, additional products and services best suited to the customer's demands and needs, increasing conversion rates, policy count and income growth.
* Liaising with prospective clients on their new business quotations by phone, email and letter
* Quoting and processing New Business including converting leads, MTAs, renewals and cancellations
* Liaising with insurers and negotiating the best price possible for the customers
* Providing post-sale assistance and advice to customers
* Manage new business enquiry volumes in a fast paced environment.
* Accurately and efficiently collecting required risk information and premium payment details.
* Using technical skills and industry knowledge to source the quotation/policy to best suit the customer's demands and needs, including advising on additional products and services as appropriate.
* Maximising new business opportunities to generate premium and policy growth aligned to key performance indicators within a compliant and regulatory framework.
* Operating with a customer centric focus, enhancing and developing customer relationships.
* Accurately inputting customer information into trading platform following established system processes.
* Co-operating and collaborating effectively with other departments.
* Working effectively as an individual and a team member to achieve the company strategic objectives.
Essential experience/Qualifications required:
Education/Qualifications:
* 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grades C/4 and above
Experience:
* Knowledge of Insurance Industry
Skills/Knowledge:
* MS Word/Excel/Outlook
Aptitudes/Attributes
* Excellent sales ability
* Excellent Customer Service Skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Able to manage time and work under pressure to tight deadlines
* Able to work on own initiative and within a team environment
* Self motivator and able to motivate others
* Proactive "Roll up sleeves" attitude
* Embodies the company values and works in a collaborative way to achieve company objectives
Other Job Requirements:
* Willing to undertake further training to fulfil the requirements of the role
* Willing to work additional hours on occasion to meet the demands of the role
What's in it for you:
Starting Salary of £21,000pa + Uncapped OTE
Working days being Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
20 Days Annual leave increased by an additional day every year up to a total of 25 days + Bank Holidays
Pension contribution and ongoing Training to support progression
