Network Manager - DC, Metro Fibre Networks

This role will be working from an incredible office location in Newcastle

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

Our client is a leading Datacentre, Telecommunications & Network organisation who are seeking to recruit a passionate and motivated Network Manager to join their incredible operation in the North East. This role will be responsible for building a team to support their Datacentre operations and Metro Fibre optic Networks and additional services, with an opportunity to be working with the very latest and innovative technologies. Ideally this would suit a Senior Network Engineer who has a strong understanding and working knowledge of Cisco/Juniper products who is happy to be hands on in Active Networks. Ideal candidates might be at CCNP level who may be looking for that next step in their career, maybe seeking to complete their CCIE, with a MCSE qualification in addition to this. You will be based both within a datacentre operation and also required to attend client meetings from a technical sales support perspective.

Person Specification

• Ideal candidates will have extensive network engineering experience at a senior level

• Ideally have a related BSc Degree or equivalent

• Happy to work within an Active Network hands on role to support the operation and team

• Ideally will be at CCNP level, looking for the next step in your networking career

• Strong knowledge of Cloud Solutions, Datacentres, Metro Fibre Networks and Microsoft programmes and systems.
