National Service Manager - Heyford, West Thurrock,Warrington

The role will involve travelling between our depots with a requirement to be based at least two days a week at our Heyford depot as well as regularly visiting our West Thurrock and Warrington sites. The role will ideally suit a candidate based in the Midlands who will also have the opportunity of working from home on occasions. We are a leading service and logistical provider for the mobile medical industry, maintaining air conditioners, chillers, electrical systems and all ancillary equipment for static and mobile medical equipment. This role is primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the service department to ensure that all maintenance and repairs are carried out in line with customer requirements. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 09.00 until 17.00hrs although due to the seniority of this role a level of flexibility is required. Responsibilities for the role include: - * Regularly auditing work carried out on client's equipment to ensure high standards are met and that repair/maintenance work is carried out effectively and efficiently. * Communicating with and managing Contract Managers and engineers to ensure that performance levels are met which will also involve carrying out appraisals and chairing disciplinary meetings where required. * Maintaining good customer relationships and dealing with any queries/concerns to ensure their levels of service are fulfilled. * Resolving day to day operational issues and communicating with all parties involved. * Creating and maintaining KPIs in line with the company and customer requirements. * Assisting with the booking of work for the team of engineers to ensure targets and deadlines are achieved. * Ensuring that all areas of administration tasks are completed effectively and maintained up to date. * Assisting team members where necessary and carrying out any other necessary duties. The successful candidate should: - * Have good technical experience in AC, chillers and electrical systems. * Have experience working within a service management role. * Have experience in managing a team and having the confidence to effectively manage staff. * Have strong customer-facing skills. * Have excellent communication skills and be able to maintain good working relationships with customers and colleagues. * Be able to prioritise work and have excellent organisational skills. * Be able to work in a busy environment and be a good team player. * Have a 'can do' attitude and be proactive in their approach to work.
