Job Title: Multi-drop parcel deliveries
Location: Glasgow
Rate per hour £11.40
Role Responsibilities
- Multi-drop parcel deliveries and returns within a specific geographical area of responsibility.
- Obtaining proof of delivery where required.
- Loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting and operating a delivery vehicle.
- Co-ordinating scheduled customer supply visits.
- Adherence to Company and Customer site health & safety standards, and specific site requirements.
- Successful completion of all scheduled VMI solutions replenishment.
- Communicating customer vending anomalies to the relevant department for action.
- Conduct basic VMI repairs / maintenance as required, and report more complex issues to the KeepStock Technical Team.
- Documenting ad-hoc order requirements during replenishment visits and submit to branch location.
- Completing basic database changes as required.
- Completing product code changes as requested by IMS team.
- Responding to all customers' queries and going above and beyond to exceed customer expectations, including gathering feedback on services and resolving or escalating customer complaints to Branch Managers or Account Managers.
- Support the branch warehouse by undertaking any reasonable duties from time to time, including periodic stocktakes.
Role Requirements:
Experience and Knowledge
- Van driving experience.
- Customer service experience (including face to face) and complaint handling.
- Customer site compliance experience.
- Previous experience of mechanical and electrical implementation with full health and safety compliance (desirable).
- Ideally a proven track record of successful practical skills and experience of VMI systems is desirable.
- Hands on with full knowledge of safe usage of tools and support equipment (advantageous).
- Knowledge of and the ability to support Microsoft Excel and Word is desirable.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Full Clean Driving Licence.
- Good local geographical knowledge.
- Route planning skills.
- Good IT skills for all aspects of VMI products systems and services (desirable).
- Able to prioritise and work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
- Able to identify opportunities for further business development.
- A proactive attitude with good problem solving skills.
