Medical Equipment Library Assistant

HR GO are looking for a Medical Equipment Library Assistant to work at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital.

Hours are 37.5hrs per week, Mon - Fri.

Duties will include:

Collection and delivery of medical devices
Contribute to the upkeep of devices within the MEL department
Ensure maximum availability of devices
Support the activities of the MEL team
Routinely scan wards and clinical areas to keep MEL databases up to date with device location
Undertake cleaning of the medical devices
Remove devices from use if failure occurs
Undertake stock control tasks and maintain stock records and delivery notes
Communicate with members of staff professionally
Answer and respond to queries
Organise and prioritise allocated tasks
You must be a confident user of Microsoft Packages (Word and Excel) and be comfortable with using a computer.

You will require an updated DBS processed by HR GO unless you have a DBS on the update service. We also require 3 years references.
