Special Purpose Machinery Manufacturer to the food processing industry, requires Mechanical Fitter / Assembler to produce special purpose conveyor systems and their associated sub assemblies to an acceptable standard as required. Main duties will include building and assembly of Special Purpose Machinery. It is essential that you have significant experience working as a Mechanical Fitter / Assembler. Typical mechanical skills such as fitting motors, pneumatics, bearings etc., also marking out, drilling, tapping cutting etc. Required: * Candidates need to be able to read, understand and work from engineering drawings. * Be proficient with the use of various hand tools and mechanical equipment. * Have significant experience of building special purpose machinery. * Any CNC Machining experience is beneficial. Rate: Basic: to £13.00 p/hr, Overtime: At time and a half Hours: Working hours are 39 hours per week. Monday - 7.30am-4.00pm, Tuesday - 7.30am-4.30pm, Wednesday & Thursday - 7.30am-5.00pm & Friday - 7.30am-12.00noon Location: In the Sandy - St. Neots - Cambourne area.
