HR Go Education are currently looking for a supply Teacher of Mathematics at a specialist, SEND school based near Sevenoaks!

Are you the type of candidate that we are looking for?

Do you have fantastic communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of children/young people? Have you got previous experience with teaching or a degree in mathematics? Are you an organised individual who is confident in front of a class of children/young people with various SEND needs, delivering lessons and setting work while also monitoring progression? Do you have some experience with SEND and the code of practice?

Must be able to fill the role ASAP to July!

Requirements for the Role:

• Must be a qualified teacher; recognised by the DFE.
• Must have a Mathematics or Primary Teaching degree or have evidence of teaching Mathematics as a subject.
• Ability to assess pupils across the whole ability range.
• You are required to have knowledge of safeguarding and child protection: Keeping Children Safe in Education (Statutory Guidance).
• A DBS is required (can be obtained)
• Must drive.
• Must be able to fill the role ASAP to July.
• It is desirable if you have knowledge of the SEND code of practice and have some experience working alongside a child/adult with SEND.
• You should be patient, compassionate, considerate, and reliable.
