The ideal candidate will be dedicated, patient but also resilient; they will also have experience working with students with emotional and behavioural challenges - being able to prove that they can effectively manage the classroom with a strong presence while consistently engaging the students with their learning.

Someone who is organised and able to plan lessons with clear aims and objectives is a must but someone who is able to understand the differentiation of abilities in the classroom and cater to them is key! And a great Mathematics Teacher is someone who is able to monitor students consistently; letting the students, staff and parents know of their progression and identity areas that can be improved or better adapted in the classroom.

Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Hold an Enhanced DBS (can be obtained through HRGO)
• Good subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Experience of working with students with emotional and behavioural challenges.
• Recent and relevant INSET.
• A confident classroom presence; able to demonstrate strong management.
• Someone who is patient, resilient but above all enthusiastic about the role.
