Marketing Executive
My client is a dynamic and ambitious manufacturing company it is considered one of the most technically proficient firms operating in this market.
The key to the Company's success within this fast moving environment is the outstanding technical expertise within the sales and production teams which is coupled with a high level of customer service.
The company has an established programme of marketing activities including print advertising, trade shows and a high-quality range of catalogues and other materials. In addition, is has established a successful online presence and social media following. My client is looking to build on recent investments in marketing and develop a fully integrated online and offline approach to the market and customers.
Prior experience of implementing and co-ordinating marketing activities for a product company. This role would ideally suit someone looking for the next step with additional responsibility having already held a similar role.
You will be self-motivated and have sufficient drive to build, implement and monitor an integrated marketing plan. You will be able to present the plan to your colleagues and management team in order to gain their approval and buy-in. They will contribute content for your use so it is important that you can show them an overall vision and co-ordinated plan.
You will have superb follow through skills to ensure activities are implemented and monitored for success.
You will have experience of using multiple social media platforms and the tools required to manage them. You will also have experience of offline marketing and how on-line and off-line activities can be implemented in a co-ordinated way.
You will be able to work independently but also understand the importance of teamwork and the value of collaborating with others in your immediate team and around the organisation.
This role will suit those who understand that the dynamics of a SME require team players who understand the need for flexibility and are willing to support and assist the wider team in achieving its goals.
You will be looking for an opportunity to own the planning and implementation of a wide range of marketing activities for multiple brands and relish the variety this role provides.
The Role
Under the guidance of the Sales & Marketing Director, plan and implement the company's marketing communications activities.
Manage a rolling plan of communications activities and gain approval for implementation from the Sales & Marketing Director.
Coordinate with others in the organisation to ensure all content is developed and available to implement the plan.
Implement communications to promote brands, products, and services.
Provide regular updates on activities to the Sales Team and Sales & Marketing Director.
Monitor activities for effectiveness and adjust as needed.
Maintain all digital platforms.
Create and maintain audience profiles and understand how to reach each customer group.
Curate online customer facing materials and work with others to ensure a suitable pipeline of new materials.
