Manufacturing Estimator

Salary - £9.55 - £11.00 p/h DOE

Location - Saffron Walden

Working days/hours - Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

The successful candidate will have a good attention detail, especially around calculations for costings, excellent Maths and English skills. This candidate will need experience in quoting and estimating or of a similar field. Full training will be given.

Job responsibilities:

• Process Customer enquiries within agreed timescales

• Liaise with internal departments to ensure enquiries are handled as efficiently as possible

• Costing of all customer enquiries; compile quotations based on costing produced

• Issue quotations to Customers, maintain good records, filing in appropriate locations

• Contact Customers, who have not placed orders, for feedback on the quotation with the aim to receive an order

• Provide timely and accurate costings of all products and services offered by the company

• Provide customers with quotations, then track progress and work with the sales team to help convert those opportunities into orders

• Responding to customer requests for information

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent Maths and English skills

• Strong I.T skills

• Good organisational skills

• Experience in quoting & estimating, or a similar field desired but not essential, Full training will be given.
