Job title: Management Accountant Temporary - 3 Months Salary: £35-40 Pro-rata Location: Huntingdon The Management Accountant's primary focus is to provide support to and work alongside the Financial Controller. This will include Sales & Margin (Contribution) Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting and overhead cost control. They will also form part of the Finance Team responsible for the production of the month end and year end Management & Statutory Accounts. They will use local ERP systems & spreadsheets to manipulate core data in order to present it in a readable form for management teams and other finance colleagues. * Weekly Sales Reporting Internally * Weekly Sales Reporting to Group * Monthly Sales & Margin Reporting by Product Group and by Customer * Monthly Rebates Calculation to derive Net Sales (by Product Group & Customer) * Monthly Credit Note Analysis & YTD * Monthly Special Charges Reporting * Monthly Price Variance Analysis * Calculation of Raw Material Accruals for Consignment Stock Suppliers * Other Accruals & Prepayments * Various Journal Postings * Management & Review of Departmental Spend Reports (with budget holders where necessary) * Intercompany Recharges (where applicable) and other ad hoc recharges (eg. VIP) * Monthly CEBIT reporting * Group Reporting via Cognos * Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations (Stock, Debtors & Creditors) * Petty Cash Management * Involvement in various Group Projects (eg. Non Productive Inventory, CPM) * Capex Management and Reporting via TM1 software * Close Liaison with Commercial Teams to Control Overdue Invoices * Close Management of Operating Non -Cash Working Capital * Annual Budgeting and Quarterly Forecasting * Various ad hoc Costings for New Business Opportunities * Transfer Pricing * Other ad hoc projects/tasks as agreed with the Financial Controller Ideally CIMA Qualified or working towards To apply for this role, please click on the 'Apply' button below.
