Position: Maintenance Manager

Location: Flintshire

Hours: Monday - Friday

Salary: £ DOE

Contract: Contract / Fixed Term 3 Months

Due to growth and success, we are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our client based in Flintshire. This is being offered on a contract / fixed term 3-month basis.

About the role:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Manager for their site based in Deeside. You will be responsible for the maintenance of their facilities and the improvements of existing processes. You will be responsible for leading maintenance systems, overseeing the continuous improvement and executing long terms strategic plans. You will lead a small team of maintenance engineers and have a hand on and visible approach.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work to ensure compliance with HSE & Engineering standards and site COMAH compliance

* Control of maintenance and assist with CapEx budgets for the site

* Identification of and control and delivery of small/medium projects (<£100,000) to budget and timeline

* Ensure all functional safety/safety critical equipment inspections and maintenance

* Manage planned and reactive maintenance

* Review the plant critical spares ensuring appropriate controls in place to manage stocks

* To manage all contractor work activities on the site

* To ensure any changes are implemented through the MOC system

* Promote lean thinking and continuous improvement to optimise operational efficiencies

Skills/Experience Required:

* Significant experience within a similar maintenance focused role

* Engineering degree, ideally mechanically bias

* Experience within a chemical environment, ideally COMAH regulated

* Strong knowledge of Engineering standards and multi-task effectively

* Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills

* Experience managing maintenance capex budgets
