Maintenance Manager (Aviation) opportunity available within an impressive and ever-expanding aviation company. You will manage and lead all aspects of Base and Line maintenance within the station, alongside producing and then evaluating budgets and efficiently scheduling maintenance activities. Management experience within an EASA 145 environment is essential alongside being a CAA Form 4 holder. Possessing a Part 66 maintenance license (B1 and B2) coupled with a Group 3 type rating is desirable. Experience with Vulcanair P68R would be advantageous for this role. The responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager include, but aren't limited to: * Liaising regularly with the Engineering Director to discuss the current work programme and any future planned work. * Ensuring that quality control complies with Part 145 and any non-conformances are dealt with swiftly. * Implementing procedures for the security and safety of aircraft. * Assisting with the planning and resourcing of maintenance parts and equipment, as well as making sure that each Base event has Pre-Input and Post-Output meetings. * Ensuring that there are arrangements to record all technical data and man-hours. * Making sure that relevant staff are conversant with the aircraft types and systems. * Monitoring and updating all Health and Safety procedures and processes when necessary. * Monitoring the performance of engineers and other employees. * Controlling and approving staff leave, so that the throughput of work isn't affected. * Overseeing the engineering stores, ensuring that an inventory is kept, with all parts stored under suitable conditions. This role requires efficient organisation skills alongside impressive communication and leadership ability.
