Our client based in Castle Cary are currently looking to recruit a weekend Machine Operator on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Rotating weekend shifts of:

• Friday and Saturday 22:00-10:00

• Saturday and Sunday 10:00-22:00

• 1 shift mid week totalling 32 hours per week.

First 12 weeks for training will be done throughout the whole week.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring all product is within specification requirements

• Being able to understand machinery control screens

• Understanding drying and cooling processes

• Being able to make basic adjustments

• Recording and escalating out of specifications to shift manager

The ideal candidate must have:

• A minimum of 5 GCSE's grade C or above

• Experience working in FMCG manufacturing environment

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

• Proven capability for flexibility and drive for results
