Position: Omega/Machine Operator

Location: Deeside

Hours: 24/7 Rotational Shift Pattern Days and Nights 6-6

Salary: £23,707 P/A inc Shift Premium

Due to continued growth and expansion my client is currently seeking an Omega Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment on a Permanent basis.

Within the role you will be working to strict quality controls, with a keen eye for detail to work on our Omega machine. Candidates must be numerate and flexible and able to work shifts. Passionate not only to hit targets but to set new ones including waste reduction, speed, and efficiency.

Specific Tasks/Accountabilities

• Good mechanical knowledge

• Die cutting experience

• Turret experience - ideally Vectra glue less turret system

• Conversion experience

• Experience in operating automatic slitting/inspection machinery would be beneficial

Skills/Qualifications and Attributes

• Full training given, however previous Omega machine experience is an advantage

• Previous experience within a busy manufacturing or warehouse environment

• Good communication skills

• Able to work under own initiative

• Problem Solving

• Record Keeping

• Good understanding of health and safety procedures

The role is a full-time, permanent position working on a 2-week 24/7 rotational shift pattern days and nights 6-6 shifts.
