My client a well-known law firm in Crewkerne is looking for legal secretary, private client division . This is a permanent role , £21- £23k DOE. If you don't have private client but are still a legal secretary then we still want to hear from you
Hours
8.30 am to 5 pm- 4 to 5 days per week
The client might consider a temp if that is what you are looking for
Main Duties:
Key secretarial tasks e.g. file opening, preparation of correspondence, invoices, etc. and documents using the Firm's case management system, scanning, photocopying, filing, Occasional Reception cover
More detail:
File creation in accordance with the Firm's procedures; organise and maintain files; and file regularly; promptly archive files when matter is completed
Generation of correspondence using digital dictation and the Firm's case management system
Preparing legal documents
Dealing with telephone calls and enquiries effectively and
Attend clients in person as required
Maintain the key dates system for the team; manage fee earner diaries
Maintain files including electronic scanning
Assist with the preparation of court bundles
Close files in accordance with the Firm's policies/procedures
Prepare invoices/ensure despatch of account reminders
Provide such practical support to the fee-earners as is required for the efficient and effective delivery of excellent client service

You must have:
Attention to detail
Excellent call handling
Good communication skills
Good numeracy and literacy
Good IT skills
