HRGO Education are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work with young children aged 4 - 16. This role will see you working in a specialist provision with the goal of helping these young students with complex social, emotional & behaviour needs achieve learning goals.
As a learning Support Assistant, you'll work on a group or one-to-one basis with students. This job typically involves supporting students who struggle with emotional needs and behaviour management. Typically, these particular students in this setting can be physically and verbally abusive.

It may be an advantage to have professional qualifications or training in areas such as health, psychology, education, guidance, or youth or social work.
You will need to demonstrate a good standard of general education, and you will need Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.

Pay & Working Hours
This is a permanent role, directly employed with the school.
Salary range £17,300 - £19,300 depending on experience.
Working hours 8.30am - 4.40pm Monday - Friday.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, but it may become permanent at a later date upon school discretion.
