Our client is seeking a Laboratory Technician for their well-established company in the Dover area. Due to expansion of their testing activities, they are looking for a new member of their successful team The Laboratory Technician conducts testing according to protocols agreed with clients or standard Work Instructions. The post will be supervised by the Laboratory Manager. It requires the ability to carry out repetitive work very accurately. After gaining a good understanding of our laboratory activities, regulatory requirements and clients' expectations, there will also be the opportunity to contribute to test protocols, results analysis and risk analyses. Training and guidance will be provided, but the ability to work independently is a must. Key Responsibilities * Conduct physical testing on materials, products and packs * Accurately record test data * Maintain meticulous records * Understand and implement company quality systems and procedures * Compile test reports to the highest scientific and grammatical standards * Contribute to the compilation of test protocols * Liaise with clients as and when required * Comply with safe equipment and laboratory use * Follow Standard Operating procedures and suggest ways to improve processes and procedures This is a full-time position and is ideal for someone who understands the principals of science or engineering. Tenacious completion of projects and excellent attention to detail, particularly in record keeping and implanting work.
