I am seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to work with our client based in Sittingbourne. Candidates interested in this role will have gained a good understanding / experience of concrete, soils and asphalt testing. Working to UKAS laboratory standards, you will be required to ensure that all testing is carried out safely and to high quality standards. You will ensure that all testing is completed to time frames and within budget. You will oversee other team members and provide any technical advice and support as necessary. You will be responsible for overseeing the calibration of all laboratory equipment, ensuring enough stock is held on site and also to review methods and procedures used to ensure continual improvement. Candidates will need to be educated to degree level within the sciences and have gained a minimum of 2-3 years of working in a similar environment. Alternatively, you may have worked out on site and are now seeking to work lab based only, so this will be a good opportunity to progress to manager level.
